Blue Monday - Play Time

These are the two item I ordered from my $100 worth gift code courtest of CSN Stores and Marley their generous promo representative. As soon as I set the slide the buckaroo was taking in control on it. He did not the lamb chop to play with it but he wants her to be his audience. So, when the lamb chop walked away he followed her and push her as he was trying to grabbed her back to the living area to watch him slide. The lamb chop was close to the wall so when the buckaroo pushed her, she bang her head and bit her lips. I was sort of busy assembling the table when that incedent happened. It was bleeding and until now the wound still not fully healed.

Kids easily forget and forgive. The buckaroo said sorry to lamb chop and their back playing again hehhee.

What is Up with Ms. Lamb Chop

She still one busy kikay never run out of things to do. Lately, she has this yucky exploration with the water in the toilet bowl. She loves water and if she hears the word bath she come running towards the bathroom. So, about the toilet one time she sneaked out and went upstairs. When I look around and she was out of sight I quickly run upstairs and there she was washing her hand in the toilet bowl. That incident happened again when I was busy brushing Jake's teeth as we were getting ready to go to SR. Little Ms. Lamb chop was at the toilet bowl dipping her hand in the water. I ended giving them both a quick bath.

The story did not stop there because when we were in their Grandma's house she went to the bathroom and dipped her hand again. Grandma had three bathrooms so even if it's yikes, i know her bathroom is not that dirty because no one using it most of the time. Since I forgot to bring extra clothes for Ms. Lamb chop I checked the Dollar General and luckily they have 50% sale on kids clothes. So, I bought a pair of clothes for Ms. Lamb chop. Mind you, we've been following her around and yet she still able to snack out and went to the bathroom upstairs the one in MIL room. The next we heard was bang from upstairs. I hurriedly went upstairs and saw her in grandmas bathroom closing the toilet bowl cover. I notice that her hand was wet again. She was extremely naughty last Sunday. I keep telling her yesterday that don't touch the water in the bowl because it's yucky, it a big no no. Well, maybe she understood it because she doesn't sneak out too much since yesterday.

We are lucky to get bunch of hand me downs toys, books and educational playthings from family. This puzzle was one of the many puzzles my kids got from their cousins. Jake found the box of puzzles I hide last week so we put them together.

Slides and Swing Set Review

We are lucky to have rented a house with swing set build in at the back yard. Jake and Justine love playing with it every time I took them outside. Maybe in the future when we buy our own house in the country we can get this step 2 swing set with Glider from swingsetandmore.com on CSN Stores. I have shopped lots if important and useful item from CSN Stores. They have affordable products and 200+ sites to choose from. You sure will get everything you need from their store with out sacrificing your budget.

Right now I'm eyeing on this Jr Play Slide. My little lamb chop always climbing up and down our stair which scare the hell out of me. Maybe if we have this one she will stop climbing up the stairs and sliding down on it. I like this one because it has gentle slope toddler slide folds for compact storage and portability. The wide steps and base designed for stability is just perfect for their age. I don't have to go through the hassle of installing it as it doesn't required any tools to set it up. They can use it both outdoor and indoor.

The Moment of Truth

Two months ago, I posted in one of my blog that I bought online a corrective slimming duo belt for my fat belly. It says in the box that it is clinically tested to show immediate slimming result for waist and hips. I was thinking that instead of finding diet pills and read lipozene reviews, why not try this slimming belt first to see if it is effective. Well, it's been over 21 days of my treatment period and it's about time to reveal the result. I keep track with my waist measurement and now is the moment of truth. Nothing change 1 cm doesn't make me slim. I wasted 50 bucks for nothing. Now, I'back reading reviews looking for the best diet pills.

Fine Day To Exercise

We had fine weather today so I took the kids a again for a walk. A walk up hill and down hill around our neighborhood was a great exercise for me and the kids to stretch out a bit. My legs, arms and back was kind of sore still from carrying my little lamb chop. She didn't want me to hold her while walking because she wanted to run. That worried me because the walk was down hills and up hills. After the walk we played ball out in the back yard. It was late already when I came back in and get back to my unfinished reading about testoripped review. I need to get back in shape and yet get more energy so I can keep up with my busy world. I was in the middle of my reading when the phone rang. It was my friend and we talked for almost half hour. The moment we hanged up the phone, it was dinner time already.

Unstoppable

The moment lamb chop woke up from her nap and saw this Chair in the table, she instantly climbed up there and started messing up with the stones in my plant.

Nobody can stop her even if you spank her or yelled at her. I really need to put some chair on it so they get used to have decoration in the house and leaned to stay away from it. But this lamb chop is very sneaky, I always grabbed her away from the table but once i turn my back away, the next thing I see is this girl counting the stones off the flower pot. Right now, she is not messing with the chair because I moved it close underneath the table. If she tried to climbed on it, she would more likely bang her head on the table. But when Jake moved the chair out a little farther away from the table, the lamb chop would come running to climb again. The chair is a bit heavy so she can't move it so quickly if I push it inside the table.

Happy Justine

Yesterday, the sky looked amazing and this lamb chop was also extremely in a happy mode. She's been dancing and singing around. When Jake played with his lego she scattered them everywhere and start dancing on top of that lego box. She fell once and cried but after wards she's back standing on top of the box again. Even if I wasn't feeling well and tired, this lamb chop and buckaroo always makes me smile.

Cough and Headache

I took the kids out last Monday and when we got home from our short walk a sudden chill hit me. I was not feeling well and my head was aching like I was having a migraine because I felt nauseous and my eyes were very sore. I took a couple of aspirin and cough medicine then went to bed early. The next day I was feeling fine but the cough still there until now. I don't like to use eye glasses because I am not comfortable with it but tried to go online to look for cheap eyeglasses. I am not sure how true what I heard before that too much exposure from the computer is bad for the eyes. Maybe it's not. Anyhow, I haven't found any eye glasses yet but I'd probably have my eyes checked before I decide to get a pair of eye glasses.

TV Upgrade and Review

I keep talking about planning to upgrade our TV to something decent like flat screen TV but the budget won't allow us. This year our plan was to save money for the ticket but last month my sister was begging for financial help because she is planning to work abroad. She needs big amount of money for placement. I really hope our trip still on even if I took something out from our plane ticket savings. Anyway, our TV looks obsolete already and we surely want a new TV and TV set. Maybe reading sony tv reviews for now would be a good thing to do so we have idea what to buy by the time we have the money.

Warning: Poop Overload

I spent most of my time this last couple of weeks potty training Jake. I even skipped the weekly caravan meme so I can closely watch him and bring him upstairs to the bathroom to potty. I had to take him upstairs every two hours hoping to get lucky. I know he is ready but he just don't know yet how to potty. There were days that i yelled at him for pooping in his diaper and not telling me. I totally forgot that my son is still 35 month and will be 3 years next month. Potty training needs a lot of patience.

So, first couple of days he only peed in the potty which is very good to me. I was happy with it. At least he peed and that would be a good start. I still bring him every two hours so he knows how to poop. I can't leave the lamb chop downstairs which means i also have to take the lab chop with us in the bathroom. I already had candies and stickers ready, and also pen, books and other stuff he needed to tinker while sitting in the potty. The lamb chop on the other hand likes going potty with him because she gets to eat candy. She won't stop until you give her candy. In fact she even peed in the potty while eating the candy. Good job sweety.

It was Wednesday of last week when Jake pooped in the potty for the first time. call it cheating but he really did poop in the potty. WI saw him trying to poop when were having lunch, so i hurriedly carried him upstairs and left him sitting in the potty. And he did it! He called me after he pooped. I had to run back downstairs because Justine was there. I gave him his favorite stickers Woody and asked him to flush the toilet to say good bye to the poopy. He was happy doing it.

The next day, he did not say anything but he came closer to me and had this look that he was about to go. Again I carried him upstairs and letting him sit in the potty by himself. I came downstairs and went back in front of the computer. Jake yelled that he was done. He said bye bye to his poop again.

I really thought we're getting there because it looks like we are half way getting over the potty thing. Came Friday and I totally forgot to take him upstairs every two hours. He pooped in his diaper. Since Joe is off on weekend which i usually get up late as well i missed putting Jake on the potty. Now this week i have to start all over again.

Mommy & Me Monday and Blue Monday

Oh My! It's Monday again. Some people in Pittsburgh wasn't so happy with Superbowl this weekend perhaps, while other was rejoicing for their Victory. Hope Steelers fan won't feel the blues this week because according to my husband his friend is already feeling depressed right now. That is now good hehe.

Well, how about let's just have some fun Blue Monday instead. Here is the rock star/cowboy/cool kid in West Virginia with his blue car.
We were at the Cottrill's house last Saturday and hanged out there. My lamb chop was trying to keep up with the big kids (well they're big now because the was no other big kids around) and even the bumble bee wanted to join too.
My buckaroo had so much fun. He did not fuss or complain when it's time to go.
Last week I also tried to potty train the buckaroo. It was like a cheating potty training thing because if I let him sit in the potty, he won't poop. But it was Wednesday when I saw him about to go, I hurriedly carried him upstairs and let him sit in the potty. I left and told him to call me when he's done. Indeed he called me and said that he is done. I this big bad boy in the toilet bowl. Way to go buckaroo. Yes he did it!.....The next day again i did the same thing carried him upstairs because he doesn't say he wants to poop. And he successfully did it.
Bye bye Poop!!! But Friday the fun was over. He still doesn't say that he wants to poop. I let both the dragons sit in the potty when they got up from bed that morning. The buckaroo did not poop but the lamb chop peed in the potty. That was a consolation for me, because later that day the buckaroo pooped in the diaper grrrrrrrrrrr. I guess I have to start again this week and watch him like a hawk.

My Toddlers This Week

My lamb chop is officially 18 months old today, February 3rd. Her favorite word is NO. She will even answers No even if we are talking to Jake. She just love the word NO, No, No, No, even if it means Yes to her. Occasionally, she throws tantrums but she is so cute when she does it. She likes the number 2, 8, 9, 10. If you ask her how old she is, she will answer 8. Maybe she is 8 years old ha ha ha. She likes singing the alphabet tune using her gibberish version of alphabet but sometimes she gets lucky saying the word A, B and random letters. She calls Jake---JEK instead of Kuya Jake. Well, she only capable of saying few words. She likes sitting in a potty but you have to give her the candy first. Justine's version of candy is Didady hehehe. She doesn't like to take a nap which is extremely opposite when she was a baby. And right now, she keeps me busy chasing her around as she likes going upstairs which is very dangerous, plus she is expert in climbing upstairs but not so much going down stairs. If you have 17 months and 4 weeks toddler here is some milestones information from Baby center.com

Your 17-month-old: Week 4
It will be a year or two before your toddler leaves most of his tantrums behind. Until then, expect to deal with outbursts of anger and frustration on a regular basis. You can cut down on the frequency of tantrums by making sure your child gets enough sleep and eats well during the day. It's probably unrealistic to expect your energetic toddler to sit still for three square meals a day, so try giving your child a variety of foods throughout the day. Remember, a hungry, sleep-deprived toddler is a meltdown waiting to happen.Source:BabyCenter.com

My Buckaroo will be 35 month next week. He is been doing great so far aside from his melt down moment. He has been going to school with his Dada every Thursday and today was his first time to be in the good mood to got up early (7:00 AM). We paid a student to watch him for an hour when Joe is teaching. Do you know that Jake pooped in the potty for 2 consecutive days now? Yup! You read it right. He is not fully potty train yet but I am hoping this would be a good start. Way to go buckaroo! I was so quick to carry him to the bathroom every time i sense that he is about to go...:) I'll share the picture this weekend if i get a time to upload it. If terrible 2 is bad, terrible3 could be worst that's what i read. He is now in his terrible3, and the bad part is the little lamb chop is looking up on him and been following him. I have been trying to teach him but it only take less than a minute i think and he is done. He is also very clingy lately and wakes up at the middle of the night calling our names. What I really want for my buckaroo is to be over with the spirit of terrible 3. I hate it when he throws major major tantrum fit.

School Shoes

Don’t you think it’s just adorable when your little toddler just tells you he or she wants to go to big school? My son probably saw something on TV and now wants to go to big school. I think it is just simply cute. Since my youngest, who is just 2, looks up to her older brother, I’m pretty sure she’ll say the same thing soon, that she would like to go to school with her brother.

Personally, it’s great that my son is already showing signs that he’s ready for school. We’re actually considering enrolling him in nursery in the next school year. For now we’re simply doing a bit of homeschooling to prepare him but maybe I will buy him a pair of school shoes so he gets the hang of it. Maybe it will help him anticipate going to school even more. The only problem is, when we buy him shoes, guess who will want a pair too? You guessed it, my baby girl. Oh well, I’m pretty sure my 2-year old girl won’t know the difference yet between a pair of school shoes and a pair of casual shoes, unless she’d want exactly the same pair as her brother’s.

The Sneaky Dare Devil

My lamb chop still 17 months old but she is more of a daredevil than the buckaroo. She is not scared to climb the stairs and tables. The buckaroo was more careful and watchful when he is doing monkey stuff. But the lamb chop is different because she just climb and not watching what she is doing.

At 16 months old she already figured out how to got out from the playpen. That last time she got out from the playpen, she thinks she can land on the floor easily, but she started crying when she cannot reached it. I did not help her right away, instead i took the camera and documented her courageous act. After the few quick snapped i helped her anyway hehehe.

Since the playpen had no use at all, i had to put it away. Right now, I always running out of breath chasing after the lamb chop all the time and stopping her from going upstairs. She is a very sneaky girl. She likes hanging out in the bathroom, and in our room reaching things which she is not supposed touch like soaps, shampoos, and Joe's lappy in our room. Once you caught her upstairs she giggles and laugh as if she was playing with you.

We already said good bye to the playpen as her time out place. Her crib is now her time out place and you have no idea how many times I have to prison this girl in her crib everyday.
